YĀDÂ by EMPOWEAR

There’s still good here. Even in this.

YĀDÂ (inspired by the Hebrew yadah — giving thanks and praise) is a wearable reminder to notice what’s still good when life is unfinished — after a diagnosis, a job loss, a relationship that ended, or a season that took more than people can see.

Soft tees, long sleeves, and sweatshirts built around one message: Gratitude, even in this.

The heart of YĀDÂ

For the middle you’re in.

Gratitude is easy when everything lines up. YĀDÂ is for the other days — when the plan changed, capacity changed, or someone who mattered isn’t standing where they used to. Not a demand to feel cheerful. A reminder you can wear back into your own attention.

Gratitude, even in this is the line on the pieces. Wear it for yourself, or send it to someone in a hard season who needs a reminder without a lecture. One practice: name one good thing that is still true today.

For the life you’re living

Maybe you’re here right now.

Life doesn’t have to be sorted out before something good still counts. These are the seasons this collection speaks to.

Your body rewrote the rules.

Your body rewrote the rules.

Illness or recovery changed what a day can hold. Things that used to be automatic now cost more. You can honor that limit and still mark one solid thing that got you through today.

Work took a piece of you.

Work took a piece of you.

Layoff, burnout, or a forced restart left a gap where certainty used to be. You’re allowed to feel that. You’re also allowed to notice a skill you still have, or a person who keeps showing up.

After the break.

After the break.

A relationship ended or shifted in a way you wouldn’t have chosen. The silence is loud. Gratitude doesn’t fix it. It keeps you company while you figure out who you are now.

A note from Jon, founder of EMPOWEAR

Why these words matter to me.

For years, I’ve talked about living with an “attitude of gratitude.” To me, it meant choosing to see the good, speaking words that encourage, and celebrating the blessings all around us.

Then long COVID changed the life I knew. I hadn’t really understood what living with a chronic illness could take from a person — how it can wipe out energy, clarity, and the ability to create the way you always had — until I was living it. For more than three decades, my security net had been simple: no matter what happened outside me — losses, business setbacks, whatever — nobody could take my mind or my ability to turn ideas into something real. When this hit, it disrupted both the outside and the inside. Suddenly I was starting over.

I still believed in gratitude. But now I was learning what it meant to choose it while life was unresolved — with fear and waiting and confusion in the room — without pretending that what I’d lost didn’t matter. Reflecting on YĀDÂ gave that practice a deeper meaning.

My reflection began in faith. The reminder I carry into everyday life is that gratitude can live alongside what’s hard — including seasons when your capacity changes and you’re rebuilding. I can notice what’s good, appreciate the people beside me, and leave room for possibility without having everything figured out.

I’m sharing this so that if you’re living through something that has changed the life you knew — in your body, your work, your relationships, or your sense of what you can still do — you feel seen, not pitied. You’re not alone. That’s what I want these words to carry.

A moment for you

Name one good thing that is still true today.

Pause here. Let something come to mind. You don’t need to write it down or share it.

The YĀDÂ collection

A reminder you can wear.

A shirt can carry more than a design. These words can meet you in the mirror before a busy day, come with you into a fresh start, or open a conversation with someone who needs them too. Choose the piece you’ll want to reach for.

Make it yours.

Explore the designs, choose your color and size, and find the reminder you want to keep close. See each product page for garment details.

A little encouragement, shared.

For someone who’s beginning again, someone you’re grateful for, or someone who simply loves the message. Let YĀDÂ be a thoughtful reminder they can wear.

Gratitude, even in this.

Take the reminder with you.
